I like your assessment of the Vargas piece. I think you are right – it’s an outrage that they didn’t include the role of fathers. I think you missed one thing that had me all fired up (shocker) – that the piece was all of 15 minutes long. Are you kidding? I mean – here we are, tackling a issue of utmost importance, but let’s only give it 15 minutes so we can move onto something really sensational that our viewers are interested in. They had the opportunity to really develop the piece and keep this issue on the national spotlight – but they treated it really no differently than our politicians. Said something. then moved on.
