Just read your "About Me" and I bleed Maize and Blue too. Both DH and I are alums. Rose Bowl...typical outcome for the Maize and Blue....

I just got criticized by someone on their blog b/c in one of my posts I shared that I did not like being called "honey", "sweetie", etc. by strangers... different strokes for different folks i guess. no harm done though, he apologized for the post on his blog.

Hey, no worries! In the six months since I've had a blog, I've been yelled at, link-removed, corrected, and advised on appropriate content. Nothing extreme, but basically there are tons of folks out there all with their own perception of what should be on a blog. Also, I've noticed that the person most likely to read your post (thanks to technorati and other link-tracking devices) is the very person that you are talking about! I have certainly edited posts, corrected posts in a brand new post, and have seen plenty of other blogs do the same.

By the way, the link-removal is a funny issue that another blog was discussing too. We (well me and this other blogger) don't generally start blogs for the purpose of getting linked. But when we do, we get excited, and then equally depressed when we are de-linked. It's like losing the friend that we never knew we had. But then someone else links to us, and we get excited again.

I don't currently have a "parenting blog" category on my sidebar, but if I start one, I'll be sure to include you!
