I’m no Julia Louis-Dreyfus

A few weeks ago, I got the opportunity to go to Los Angeles (along with other influential mommy and daddy bloggers) to visit the set of the CBS show  ”The New Adventures of Old Christine,” starring the ever-lovely Julia-Louis Dreyfus (who I lovingly refer to now as JLD).  The show is coming back on the air Monday, March 12 from 8-9 PM ET/PT with a double header of new episodes.  I’d recommend watching.  JLD is hot and funny and a natural on camera.  And that’s the problem.  I’m none of the above.

But the gracious Beth of Role Mommy sent photos and a video of me on the set so we could share our experience with our readers.  I feel somewhat compelled to share these with you all.  The key word here is somewhat.  It doesn’t mean I can actually do it.  See, where JLD was witty in answering my question, “Where does Old Christine shop?” during the Q&A, I couldn’t find anything witty to say in any part of the video.

So, instead you’re just getting the group photos of the event.  That way you’ll have to try to figure out where I am (doesn’t that sound fun?).  At least you can see how hot JLD is.  Oh, and if you want more of JLD and “Christine,” tune into BlogHer Monday, March 19 for a 30-minute live interview webcast with JLD and executive producer Kari Lizer at 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT.  I’ll be tuning in for sure because I can’t get enough of her!

I am so very jealous that you got to meet JLD. How much fun that must have been. I also love that you only post group photos of yourself, not individuals. I do the same thing. It is like showing you who I am without showing you who I am… very mysterious.

Your blog got me to watch. Score one for the ratings! It was pretty funny.
