I have, however, met quite a few who reduced their schedules from full-time work to part-time work, but that has its own career implications. It implies a sense of purpose, I guess. When I went "back" to work the first time (meaning I had a completely different job than the one I had pre-kids) I had that sense of purpose. BUT... I would love to see career advice from the pros directed at the moms who HAVE to go back to work NOW because their husbands left them or died. And my comment suckage begins now as I dash off to get my daughter.
