Due to a recent trip to New Jersey and a detour to the suburbs, I’ve been out of the office for 10 days. It was so hectic in Detroit that it’s almost relaxing to be at work today. I can drink my Starbucks, shut my office door and have a little piece and quiet. On the flip side, I’m not sure how to get my brain to start working again after some time off. I was coherent enough this morning to able to pick out a cute outfit for today (new black and white flowered dress from H&M), but I’m not sure that means I’ll actually be able to have a normal conversation with anyone besides my son.
How do you guys “on-ramp” after being on vacation? Lots of caffiene? I need some tips. Otherwise, I’ll just look like a bumbling fool. A cute fool, but a fool, nonetheless.
