Although my home is still a disorganized mess in certain areas, I have never been MORE organized than I have been since I had my daughter. When I taught high school, I had crap all over the place--in drawers, various school bags, Meijer bags around the house and in my car, and especially all over my office (which was a fairly good sized room!). I think now that I just have ONE child to worry about and not hundreds since I quit my job, I have more time to devote to keeping my home in running order. Don't get me wrong, I still spend most of my day playing with my litle girl and running errands. However, when she does take those elusive long naps, I get a second to fold laundry AND put it away. Amazing, I know. I don't know how you working moms do it. Kudos times infinity to you all. Ha! But I'll have to do it next week - taking a long weekend in honor of pending kindergarten. I purposely had fewer file cabinets when I moved cubicles so I would get rid of my stuff. I keep almost everything electronically, yet every inch of my desk is still full. I did pass the fire inspection, but still have a box of pictures under the desk. Ooh, fun.
