New nanny officially started today and I’m officially a nervous wreck. Being a few minutes late this morning and not picking up the phone RIGHT AWAY aren’t helping. Did she really need to use the bathroom? Sheesh.
I can’t concentrate at work. All I’d like to do is curl up in child’s pose under my desk and hide from my anxiety. But I have to fight the new nanny demons standing straight up, I know that.
Please yogi gurus out there, send a little pranayama breathing my way, would ya?

OK delete that stupid article I sent you now. (if you haven’t done so already)
I’m sure everything is fine and I’m sending positive vibes!
Ommmmmmmm.
You poor thing. Sending calming thought the same way. I am so
unproductive at work after dropping off my kid when he doesn’t
want me to leave.
I love child’s pose. I’m a SAHM though so I have to do it in the bathroom cabinet, with the fan running, if I want to be left alone.
Seeing as you have to stand up, try Tadasana.
The Mountain thing should both calm you down and give you a sense of solidity. We all know you’re a mountain-strong anyway after weathering the storm of the nanny transition! Namaste.
