I thought the Go Go Kidz was too bulky and one more thing to pull through the airport. Instead, I bought the Tote a Tot. It slips over your roller bag and secures your car seat with child strapped in and voila. It's so much easier. Granted, you do have to unhook it to put it through the security belt, but you are only putting the car seat through (the "holder" stays on your luggage). When done on the security belt, you just slip the clasps through the car seat and attach again. MUCH EASIER!

Did I mention it was a lot cheaper than the go go kidz? :)

I agree! We have traveled through many airports where I had to take it apart. That made not worth the month!

I've never tried this one but I am a big fan of the Sit N' Stroll 3 in 1. I've travel internationally and never had a problem with it fitting through the x-ray machines. I'm sure most airports with do a hand check for you.

How horrible. I would try to send it back or get your money back. There is no reason why it should not work where it is actually supposed to.

There are a LOT of airports at which it doesn't fit, including both JFK and LaGuardia, which is where I travel most frequently. What I do is just announce very loudly to the person that it doesn't fit, and that I need a hand check. When they ask me to take it apart, I get a hysterical look on my face and tell them that it is too difficult and that I can NOT do it safely while watching my two children. This has only not worked once.

next, time, ask them to do the security check by hand - they have a "wand" that they can use on it. we've flown 4x with ours, and that's what we've done each time, no problems.
