Thank you, thank you for the bloggy bling and the very kind words! I have a post just about written that describes a little bit more about what I've eben going through with work -- I'm hoping to get it out there very soon.

Glad to hear that your change in work status is treating you well so far. I look forward to reading you over at Work It, Mom!

I've been taking care of first my husband, then one daughter, then the other, then myself, all with tonsillitis. Quite frankly, the noise of always having someone here watching bad TV while coughing and/or moaning in pain was almost worse than actually having the sore throat.

Thanks to Facebook, I recently reconnected with a few folks from high school and the first two years of college, and I find myself not quite being able to say, "Yeah, I tried mixing paid work with parenthood, and got pretty critically burnt out both times." Hmm, maybe I should just say THAT.

Lindsay Davenport: Rock on! Makes me theorize that the more healthy and active you were pre-baby, the easier it'll be to get back there after baby. I seem to remember figure skater Ekaterina Gordeeva going through the same thing with her first daughter.
