Oh, I do not miss meetings either. I don’t miss pretending to like people I work with. Or wasting half my day making pre-meeting chit chat. I don’t miss feeling shackled to my desk, while I am mostly just looking at pictures of my kids anyway. I do not miss having to shower first thing in the morning. I LOVE showering at 3pm, after I’ve gone to the gym at 11! Staying at home is awesome.

Love this post…very inspiring. Hubby and I are talking about switching roles (he stays at home) in the coming year. I often wonder what it will be like and following your blog is so eye opening.

I catch Nip/Tuck from time to time and it is one racy show! That guy is SO completely hot, though. “Yummy” is all that comes to mind.

I have to say that as much as I look forward to the day when I go to vet school, I love the worst thing that happens right now is that one of my kids is sick so we have to miss a playdate.

Getting out of the rat race can be nice. That probably explains why I’m anti-agenda on the weekends. I’m more than happy to roll out of bed whenever, not shower, not leave the house and just generally do whatever I feel like doing (like reading people’s blogs) without a schedule. So glad that the SAHM thing is agreeing with you so far.

p.s. I do not miss the rat race. Even though I do work, it’s only four mornings for four hours in the actual office. I was just telling a daycare mom the other day (who works 8 to 5 in an office) that I could never go back to that kind of schedule again.

I actually caught up on the entire Sex in the City series reruns for the close to one year I was at home (working somewhat sporadically from home) with my youngest. I loved it!
