Ok, so their article may have been a tad more fleshed out and well-researched than mine, but I can still say I had the story first! Reading the NYT story by the mom of three girls had me flashing forward 10 years when my girls will be teenagers. Guess that's what I'll have to look forward to, except by then I'm hoping that instead of texting, there will be some sort of device that attaches to your head so you can telekinetically transmit your messages instead of typing them. For me it is the microblogging part I like. Since my posting are far in between lately, it is kind of nice that I actually have the twitter on my sidebar to let my readers know what I am up to.
