I just issued a directive to my husband but called him by my son’s name.
Clearly, I’m spending too much time at home. Or, that I’m finally turning into my mother. I gotta do something about that.
p.s. I’m so excited because I’m interviewing someone famous tomorrow about something pretty cool! Stay tuned – it’s about time I wrote a “real” post around here and that someone comments back to me. Geez, where is everyone lately?

Looking forward to reading the interview!
Oooh…good luck with the interview! Thanks for the reminder…I’ve been meaning to TiVo this show. Brilliant concept…TLC sure knows how to tap into moms’ hearts and minds, don’t they?
Whoa! Cool interviewee! I have seen numerous commercials for this show, so it will be interesting to see how it does. I just hope the producers don’t make it seem like the choice to stay at home with their kids was deep down a second choice in comparison with doing their dream jobs. These women obviously stayed at home for a reason. I just want the show to highlight the benefits of staying at home while showing how intelligent and educated many stay-at-home moms are! We have dreams like everyone else, dammit!
I saw her on the View last week – she is super-preggers and looks FANTASTIC. The show looks really interesting – will definitely set the Tivo for it! Good Luck!
Cool about the interview.
And don’t feel about the name switcher-roo. I once had the boss-from-hell and every time I got mad at Neville, I would call him my boss’ name. Try living that one down!
Hi – I subscribe to this blog and read your updates regularly. I hardly comment though, but do keep up the good work! I look forward to your interview. I worked 17 years full time for large firms, and am now a SAHM mum also. Sincerely
PS: I think it would be totally “cool” if you post a comment on your comments sometimes and reply publicly to commenters. Makes for nice discussion, and us knowing you read our comments!
Hi Olivia- I’m glad you wrote. I actually try to respond via email to everyone who comments on my blog, but rest assured I read all of them and appreciate the responses. I wll try to be better about posting online too! Talking to Tracey was great- I had a lot of fun doing it!
