After two days of slaving over a hot stove and oven, I made a nice Passover dinner that even my own Jewish mother was impressed by. (And conceded that my brisket tasted better than hers.)
Ah, my SAHM days are really paying off. Cooking a meal like this that my family wolfed down in 15 minutes made missing that Disney thing kind of worth it.
If you care, my brisket is on the right.
Happy Passover!

Mmmmm! Brisket!
Mazel tov! I was proud of my seder too which I threw together at the last minute after a 3-day meeting at work. Effective delegation (Hubby made the chicken, mom made the kugel) and alot of luck (the flourless chocolate cake I tried actually turned out good) was key for me.
That looks wonderful! We had turkey sausage, potatoes and green beans that my husband made. Not nearly as good.
Nice money shot!
ps Sorry I’ve been MIA
Two days?! That’s exactly why I don’t think I have what it takes to take on Passover. We decided to host Thanksgiving this year (my son was only 8 weeks old!). Lucky for me, my mother in-law has dibs on Passover.
I enjoy your blog!
